Helen is an experienced Chartered Civil Engineer with experience in rail, highways and marine infrastructure sectors. She is currently leading the Structures service for one of the largest local authority Highway networks in the UK, with over 2100 highway structures in her portfolio with an estimated replacement value of £1,300 million. She actively advocates and supports the development of the next generation of engineers through mentoring, coaching and STEM events. She recently won the CIOB Motivational Leader of the Year Award for her coaching style of leadership with her team and wider industry.
