Neil is an executive coach and leadership development facilitator who is passionate about coaching as a transformational process that enables leaders, and their teams, to develop a deeper understanding of their identify, purpose and belonging.

Originally starting his career in medical research, Neil moved into education and was a successful senior leader at both local and national level as well as driving innovative approaches to therapeutic provision in schools and facilitating school-community partnership. Leaving headship and qualifying as an ILM Level 7 Executive Coach, Neil has become an experienced leadership coach and facilitator on national leadership courses and provides consultancy support across a several private and public sectors. He is also a fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching (FCCT) and the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA).

Having recently become Deputy Director for Coaching with EMCC UK with a specific responsibility for the Festival, Neil has worked alongside Hannah Butler (Director for Coaching) and a team of volunteers to realise the festival vision. This arose out a desire to see coaching practice celebrated and shared in a way that fuels the passion for transformation that many coaches feel as a sense of calling. In addition, he is also keen to develop a forum that supports and recognises the impact of high-quality coaching on school leaders and their organisations.
